OverviewThe Administrative Services Coordinator will work directly with OPG's Representative Payee Program in our Rutland Office. OPG's Representative Payee Program is responsible for managing the income of nearly 350 Older Vermonters and individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.This position is primarily responsible for various administrative tasks such as:
  • Filing
  • Scanning
  • Mailings
  • Learning how to utilize our database to update client information.
This position will interact directly with our two Representative Payees as well as with the clients we service. The ability to work collaboratively as well as independently is essential. Supervision and oversight of hours worked will be provided by the OPG Regional Supervisor.Who May ApplyThis position, Administrative Services Coordinator III - Temporary (Job Requisition #51147), is open to all State employees and external applicants. You must apply online to be considered.Please note that multiple positions in the same work location may be filled from this job posting.Environmental FactorsWork is performed in a standard office setting.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent AND four (4) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.OROne year of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND three (3) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.ORTwo years of full-time college level study OR an associate's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.ORThree years of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.ORFour years of full-time college level study OR a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field.OROne (1) year or more as an Administrative Services Coordinator II with the State of VermontNOTE: Only administrative work experience is qualifying.
