- Deadline to Apply: 12/13/2024 Employment Opportunity - Finance AnalystKendall County is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its Administrative Services Department! Reporting directly to the Deputy County Administrator, the Finance Analyst will perform accounts payable duties such as ensuring that all vendor invoices are accurately recorded and paid on time, as well as maintaining accurate records in Kendall County's accounting system. The Finance Analyst is also responsible for analyzing accounts payable data; preparing financial reports; and utilizing accounts payable data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements and/or cost savings.Essential Functions:A successful candidate for this position must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and provide high-quality support for Kendall County. Essential job duties include, but are not limited to all duties included in the job description.Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or commensurate experience is preferred. Preferred areas of study/experience are Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- At least three (3) years of prior work experience involving accounts payable systems and/or analytical research and reporting of complex financial data is required.
- Must be proficient in use of computers and in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Valid and current driver's license is required.Work Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (occasionally may be requested to attend County Board committee meetings outside of regular office hours).
- This position's office location is on-site at the Kendall County Office Building in Yorkville, Illinois.
- Base salary: $60,000.00 per year.
- Approximately 13 paid holidays per year (the holidays are approved each year by the Kendall County Board).
- Paid vacation time - accrued each month, available for use immediately, and increases incrementally with years of service.
