We invite you to Become a Part of the Pride at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.Department:Vice Chancellor Enrollment ManagementSummary of Job Duties:The job duties and responsibilities include the following: Assist with the management of fiscal accounts, which include accounting, record keeping, budget transfers, purchase orders, and hiring of staff and student workers utilizing the Workday platform.Manage and execute travel and meeting arrangements including virtual webinars, conferences, etc., for the VCEMSS, Assistant VC for Student Engagement and Success, and the Director of the Lions program in a timely and proactive manner.Maintain a status list of all projects assigned to the Vice Chancellor to ensure deadlines are met.Maintain knowledge of university procedures including purchasing and travel. Provide LIONS Program and Student Success Center staff with updated information on policy and procedural changes.Serve as a liaison with Human Resources, Accounts Payable, the Procurement Office, and the Registrar's Office;Order, maintain, inventory, and organize office supplies and equipment;Schedule rooms and oversee reservations;Assist as needed in the implementation of large-scale and recurring campus-wide events (Student Recruitment and Orientation Days, Lion Fever Day, special day celebrations, LIONS program College Knowledge workshops, etc.);Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Required Education and/or Experience The formal education equivalent of a high school diplomaOne - to three years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed. Preferred Education and/or Experience One year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field;Knowledge of state, federal, and university rules, regulations, and procedures.Experience with UAPB's ERP and student information systems, hiring, purchasing, travel, and related policies, and procedures.Previous experience in a college or university setting, preferably in student services, enrollment management, or related areas.
