Come join our team!Job Responsibilities:The Administrative Specialist is responsible for supporting administration of processes for the development of dental standards in accordance with Association policies and procedures. Incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating standards volunteers, monitoring of departmental budget, contract management, meeting logistics, sales and promotion of standards in the ADA store, updating ADA.org webpages, and record keeping needed for adherence with ANSI accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years (or 7 in lieu of degree) of administrative experience
- Ability to multi-task, unafraid to ask questions, thorough, precise, meticulous and organized in maintaining records
- Ability to work with volunteers in a collaborative environment
- Able to manage several projects concurrently within established time frames with strong attention to detail; write and communicate information that is clear, concise and understandable
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and customer service skills with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Some evening/weekend work
- Travel < 10%
