This role serves as a key customer service and internal service provider within the Water division. The Administrative Specialist - Water requires a combination technical, administrative, and technological skills in both the office and the field pertaining to data entry, records management, general administrative work, water backflow/cross-connections prevention, identification, and correction. This position is also responsible for administering a comprehensive backflow control program which will include communications, compliance identification and tracking, and reporting and recording of various connections. Additionally, this role will assist the Water division with other administrative tasks and reporting as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have experience and/or training in the use of personal computers, computer software, and records management systems.
- Must have at least two (2) years of customer service experience experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR EQUIPMENT:
- Valid Colorado driver's license required prior to operating any Town-owned vehicles.
- Colorado ASSE Backflow Tester Certification preferred.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-high school higher education and/or experience in the area of records and office management are desired.
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience in an office environment with significant contact with the public desired.
- Demonstrated experience in records management systems desired.
- Previous experience in water systems, water distribution, water treatment, GIS/GPS, plumbing, or facility maintenance operations preferred.
Additional Information Hiring Range is $27.00 - 31.00 per hour, $56,160 - $64,480 if annualized.Full Pay Range is $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, $56,160 - $72,800 if annualized.
