Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Food and Environment, department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering seeks a candidate with strong management and organization skills to serve as the Administrative Staff Officer II. The department conducts teaching, research, and outreach related to engineering for food, energy, agricultural, biological, and environmental systems. The Administrative Staff Officer position is a key member of the team, managing business operations and supervising department business office staff. This position works closely with the chair and faculty regarding budgetary tracking, management, and forecasting. Additionally, the position ensures compliance with UK, grant sponsors and other regulations. The department is committed to promoting work-life balance by offering hybrid work arrangements that allow for some amount of remote work.
