Admissions Development Specialist - South Central Regional Medical Center : Job Details

Employment Type: Full Time Shift: Days Departments: 9120, 6545, 6820, 9122 Responsibilities: This position is under the direction of the Director of Access and PFS. The incumbent will assist in the clarification and development of process improvements and inquiries, train new Admission Clerks, and ensure all person s training have full knowledge of covered material. This position is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation and evaluation of classroom lead instruction. Employee will also meet the continuing education needs of all employees. The incumbent will draft, create and upkeep training manuals with the input from Supervisors, Managers and/or Director. This position will require training employees on: insurance verification of eligibility and benefits, navigation of EMR, Claims Clearinghouse/ Payer Hubs, insurance websites, emails, and departmental shared folder.
