Position: Admissions DirectorFacility: Cypress Garden Center for Nursing & RehabilitationLocation: Jersey City, NJShift: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PMPay Rate: $80,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience)

Job Duties:

• Ensure admissions operational excellence by monitoring and addressing operational issues while developing effective systems for improved workflow.
• Maintain a strong facility capacity census through strategic admissions planning and relationship-building with referral sources.
• Engage with the community by participating in events to enhance our facility's reputation and increase referrals.
• Take a patient-centered approach to ensure residents and families are well-informed and cared for during the admissions process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and community organizations to ensure a steady flow of admissions.
• Verify financial information before admission and ensure clear communication within the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement processes, staying up-to-date with CMS guidelines, Department of Health regulations, and insurance requirements.
• Compile and present monthly statistics to inform the teams decision-making.
• Lead and manage the admissions team, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Director, with a focus on admissions.
• Experience managing a team is required.
• Experience in Queens is preferred.
• Must have experience with short-term rehab.
• Director-level experience in a skilled nursing home is essential.
