Nestled on the Central California Coast, Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. Verifies insurance and collects pertinent patient information and data. Collects, deductibles, co-pays and flat rates.Knowledge and Skills:Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification: 1. Minimum of 12 months clerical experience.2. Proficiency in microsoft products, database management and entry and internet usage.3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Training/Education/Experience/Certification:1. Six months customer service experience in one of the following fields: medical insurance, financial industry and/or medical industry.2. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification practices.3.
