Verifies insurance and collects pertinent patient information and data. Collects, deductibles, co-pays and flat rates.Knowledge and Skills:Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification: 1. Minimum of 12 months clerical experience.2. Proficiency in microsoft products, database management and entry and internet usage.3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Training/Education/Experience/Certification:1. Six months customer service experience in one of the following fields: medical insurance, financial industry and/or medical industry.2. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification practices.3. One year admitting/registration experience in a medically related organization.Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
