Job Description Summary: Minimum starting salary $25.00 / hourThe Residential Care Facility (RCF) Supervisor is a qualified professional staff who is responsible for ensuring quality services and care are provided for the residents of Ozark Oaks Residential Care Facility. The RCF Supervisor will work closely with the Adult Residential Administrator to ensure that the residential program operates within professional standards and meets the requirements of DHSS, CARF, local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The RCF Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of residential personnel and budget management. The RCF Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of care with health care team providers for the residents in care. The RCF Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring that services are delivered in a trauma informed and person-centered approach. The RCF Supervisor shall be trained in and/or have experience in working with individuals with a range of behavioral health issues, including mental health, trauma and substance use. The RCF Supervisor will be able to assess, plan, develop and coordinate recovery services to promote the maximum level of independence with each client served. The RCF Supervisor will participate in assigned rotation(s) of Administrator-on-Call duties. Education: •A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field Work Experiences: •Must have a minimum of two years' experience supervising employees.Responsibilities:•Collaborates with maintenance professionals to coordinate required building systems and safety inspections, ensuring that timelines are met and issues/concerns are addressed quickly and thoroughly.•Ensures that Ozark Oaks adheres to all OSHA, CARF, DMH, DHSS, Medicaid, Medicare, federal, state, and other regulatory guidelines and requirements.•Ensures all staff receive initial, ongoing, and annual competency-based training and stay current with Human Resource requirements.•Ensures adequate staff coverage is provided for all shifts, as required by DHSS. •Completes ongoing staff supervision, coaching, and disciplinary actions and documentation. •Ensures staff duties are completed as assigned •Reviews client applications and conducts interviews to ensure criteria are met for potential admissions.•Maintains a waiting list of eligible clients for admission when beds become available.•Ensures clients meet admission criteria and oversees the documentation and fulfillment of their initial, ongoing, and annual psychiatric and medical care needs.•Reviews policies and procedures annually, updating as necessary. •Completes all required documentation within established timeframes and according to quality standards set by State and Federal regulations, CARF certifications, and program expectations. •Performs all other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements: •Typical direct care environment. •May require evening and/or weekend work. •Some travel may be required for meetings, appointments and community outings. •Typical physical demands include frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting, up to 50 pounds. •Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to assist clients in day-to-day living routine. •Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours. •Requires use of a computer.•TB test upon hire.
