Orthopedic Physician Assistant - PA Schedule: Full-time Opportunity Pay Range is dependent on experience Job Description:
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and review of medical histories.
- Evaluate diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans to assist in diagnosing orthopedic conditions.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and providing surgical instruments.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management and patient education.
Physician Assistant Qualifications:
- Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of NY.
- Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
