POSITION SUMMARY

SageView Advisory Group, LLC (SageView) currently has an opening for an Advisory Service Associate reporting to the Chief Advisory Services Officer. The individual will be a subject matter expert on multiple SageView products and services tailored for advisors and clients. Responsibilities include overseeing database management and asset gathering for client investment reporting. The Associate will collaborate closely with various SageView teams, providing insights and support on the products and services they oversee. Additionally, they will support Institutional Advisory Services Associate colleagues as needed, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional service.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary product specialist for SageView Personalized Portfolios, Integrity IRA, and Integrity Pooled Solutions, possessing comprehensive knowledge of each product's operational mechanics, including nuances across different recordkeeping platforms, contract structures, pricing arrangements, revenue opportunities/calculations, etc.
  • Engage with SageView consulting teams via email, phone, and video conferencing to address inquiries and provide detailed insights on product functionalities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Investment Operations, Accounting, Education, and Centralized Client Service Teams to ensure seamless product integration and support.
  • Maintain proactive communication with designated contacts at recordkeeping, managed account, administration, custody, and investment management partners to facilitate effective product management and development.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and information on intranet/share drive folders are current, well-organized, and relevant to support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively work with marketing teams to generate additional materials tailored for consulting teams based on ongoing discussions and insights.
  • Devise and implement innovative strategies to engage consulting teams effectively, aiming to promote product adoption and sales where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with CASO (Chief Advisory Services Officer) to establish and maintain comprehensive reporting metrics, essential for senior leadership presentations in board meetings, business update calls, strategic partner meetings, institutional advisory council sessions, leadership team gatherings, and national conference presentations.

** This role is 100% remote. We do have locations across the United States, so this can potentially be a hybrid role, if the individual prefers to work in an office location that is nearby.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies:

  • Ability to stay organized while juggling changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Understanding of the retirement plan industry, including products and services generally offered within a retirement program to Plan Sponsors and plan participants.
  • Familiarity with the various service providers serving plan sponsors including recordkeepers, third-party administrators, attorneys, auditors, and other advisors
  • Ability to work from home and remain focused on the tasks at hand without getting distracted
  • Willingness to obtain retirement industry related designations as needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

  • Bachelor s or four-year college degree
  • Prior (usually 2-4 years) work experience
  • Extensive experience with Excel
  • Experience working from home (preferred)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a full-time position that is 100% remote. Required to talk, hear, and use a telephone or computer screen for extended periods of time. Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and may fluctuate with business needs, at the direction of or with management approval.

Base with bonus opportunity, based on experience
