Aerospace Assembly and Deburring Technician for Gaishin Manufacturing Kalamazoo Facility: Our AA&D Technician works Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. We are looking for candidates that are looking for a long-term career at a company that values and supports their employees. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Aerospace Assembly & Deburring Technician to join our team. This role involves the precise installation of threaded inserts in aerospace components, deburring of machined parts, and performing detailed visual inspections to ensure compliance with strict quality standards. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform repetitive, precision-based tasks efficiently. Essential Responsibilities:

• Install treaded inserts into aerospace parts according to engineering specifications and work instructions
• Perform hand and mechanical deburring of machined components to remove burrs and sharp edges.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections using magnification tools, gauges, and measurement instruments to ensure part compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report any non-conformances or defects to the quality team for corrective action.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in aerospace assembly, deburring, or a related precision manufacturing role preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently on repetitive tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect surface defects or inconsistencies.
• Willingness to comply with company procedures and policies
• Familiarity with hand tools, deburring tools, and measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Must be willing to learn and be coachable
• Experience in using ERP (PLEX) software and other relevant tools
• Ability to stand/or sit for long periods of team and lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
