Job Description :

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring Aerospace Technicians (Assemblers) in Renton, WA for a temporary project.

As an Aerospace Technician/Assembler, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct mechanical products.

Technician/Assembler Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit aircraft parts and structures using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
  • Repair or replace faulty components and parts using hand and power tools
  • Using tools to make or repair parts and products.
  • Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
  • Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
  • Keeping a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
  • Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience as an assembler
  • Ability to use product documentation, schematics, and verbal/written instruction

Working conditions:

  • Pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
  • Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
  • Standing for 10-12 hour shifts

Pay: $45/hr
