Job Summary: As an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (ANP) at our clinic specializing in non-surgical procedures, this position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes for our clientele. Responsibilities encompass a blend of clinical expertise, patient education, and procedural proficiency within the realm of aesthetic medicine. The ANP will conduct patient consultations, establish treatment plans, perform aesthetic treatments and services, collaborate with staff, communicate with and educate patients on treatment options and follow up care, monitor patient progress throughout the treatment process, assist other clinicians with procedures and treatments, and to continue to further his/her own education staying current with industry trends and changes. Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related health field.
  • National Certification by an accredited certifying body.
  • Active DEA licensure.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector performing Botox, Dysport, dermal filler injections, IV therapy, treatment planning, laser treatments, etc.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients in order to ensure overall customer service and satisfaction with clients.
  • Ability to build trust and interacts with others in a way that gives them confidence in one's intentions and those of the organization.
  • Adherence to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply medical principles, procedures and techniques.
  • Comfortable establishing and maintaining and online social media presence to support and promote our goals and services.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment, moderate periods of standing, walking, bending, sitting and computer use are required.
  • May be required to perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Position Responsibilities: Laser Liposuction:
  • Assists in all aspects of patient care, from pre-operative assessments to post-operative follow-ups.
  • Pre procedure preparation which may include reviewing medical history, reviewing pre procedure requirements, what to expect during treatment, post treatment care, and obtaining consent.
  • Administering local anesthesia and assisting treatment provider with the procedure, including using laser technology to break down fat cells.
  • Monitoring patients during and after the procedure, to ensure patient safety and comfort, noting any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Providing post-operative care instructions and monitoring patient recovery.
  • Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participating in training and continuing education to stay current with advancements in laser liposuction technology and techniques.
Aesthetic Treatments: Aesthetic Patient Consultations and Assessments:
  • Conduct thorough initial consultations with patients to understand their aesthetic concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.
  • Perform comprehensive in-person assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct post-treatment assessments to include recommendations for additional treatments and/or products to enhance outcomes.
  • Collaborate and coordinate care with other staff to establish a cohesive treatment plan with pricing to keep company costs and profits in mind.
  • Obtain medical clearance as appropriate for complex medical health history patients.
Aesthetic Treatments:
  • Administer a variety of injectable procedures, including but not limited to Botox/Dysport/Daxxify, dermal fillers, fat transfer, threads, sclerotherapy.
  • Administer a variety of non-surgical procedures, including but not limited to fat extraction, skin resurfacing, skin tightening, acne and acne scarring, body contouring, vaginal rejuvenation, Ultherapy, fractional CO2 treatments, Intense Pulsed Light treatments laser treatments, Erbium laser treatments, Onychomycosis (toenail fungus) treatments.
  • Utilize advanced injection techniques and aesthetic judgment to achieve natural-looking results and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards during all procedures.
Aesthetic Patient Education and Counseling:
  • Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Address post-procedure issues that could arise such as hematoma or seroma, identify infections, chemosis and perfusion issues of fat transfer/local liposuction patients; identify appropriate treatment including prescribing for each situation.
  • Recommend skin care regiments as appropriate.
  • Address patient concerns and inquiries with empathy and professionalism, fostering a trusting patient-provider relationship.
  • Make appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies.
Aesthetic Documentation and Charting:
  • Maintain accurate medical records documenting patient assessments, treatments performed, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive treatment planning.
Aesthetic Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements, professional standards, and clinic policies governing aesthetic practice.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service delivery.
Aesthetic Professional Development:
  • Stay current on emerging trends, best practices, and advancements in aesthetic medicine through participation in webinars, conferences, onsite training, and continuing education programs;
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT): BHRT Patient Assessment:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history, symptoms, and hormone levels.
  • Analyze lab results, medical history, and patient vitals to determine candidacy for BHRT.
  • Evaluate patients' current medications and health conditions to ensure suitability for hormone replacement therapy.
BHRT Treatment Planning and Administration:
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' hormone levels, symptoms, and medical history.
  • Administer bioidentical hormones via pellet implants.
  • Educate patients on the benefits, risks, and expected outcomes of BHRT.
  • Make recommendations for additional supplementation to optimize BHRT.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient response and laboratory results.
  • Address post-treatment issues that could arise such as infection, pellet extrusions, continued symptoms, hair loss, etc.
BHRT Patient Education and Counseling:
  • Provide comprehensive education to patients regarding hormone replacement therapy, including potential side effects and long-term effects.
  • Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications, supplementation and complementary therapies to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Address patient concerns and questions regarding BHRT to ensure informed decision-making.
BHRT Patient Monitoring and Follow-up:
  • Monitor patients' hormone levels and symptom progression regularly through laboratory tests and clinical assessments.
  • Adjust treatment protocols based on patient response and hormone level fluctuations.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments to track patient progress, address concerns, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Communicate with patients to provide support, answer questions, and address concerns related to BHRT
BHRT Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice in documentation practices.
Professional Development:
  • Stay abreast of current research, guidelines, and best practices related to hormone replacement therapy.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in BHRT and related fields.
