We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Ag Salesperson to join our esteemed team at our Watertown office. In this pivotal role, the Ag Salesperson will be entrusted with the responsibility of spearheading sales initiatives for a comprehensive range of agricultural infrastructure solutions, including but not limited to grain bins, grain handling sites, elevator repairs, ethanol plants, and bin installations.The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in agricultural sales, demonstrating proficiency in quoting, bidding, and project management within the agricultural sector. This individual will leverage their extensive industry experience and strong communication skills to cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions and exceptional service delivery.Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive revenue growth in the agricultural sector.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities, nurturing leads from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to effectively manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide expert consultation to clients, offering insights and recommendations on the most suitable agricultural infrastructure solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all their agricultural infrastructure needs.
- Continuously assess and enhance sales processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in agricultural sales, with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of agricultural equipment, machinery, and infrastructure, with specific expertise in grain bins, grain handling sites, elevator repairs, and ethanol plants.
