Job Description: I am seeking individuals who are self-directed learners with strong entrepreneurial mindsets that will dedicate themselves to learning and honing skills to develop into B2B insurance sales professionals. Work consistency will be key to delivering industry excellence, and achieving individual and team goals. The role of Agency Sales Manager is focused on developing the skills needed to lead a team of sales agents by example. Self directed, instructor lead, and experiential learning models are designed to help hone skills in prospecting activities like cold to warm phone outreach, corporate dropping, networking, and first-hand research. Persons filling the positions of Agency Sales Representative and Agency Sales Manager will join an existing dynamic team, with a 1099 commission-based structure, that has a history of continuous sales excellence and meeting and/or exceeding quarterly sales targets. Essential Skills and Experience:AGENCY SALES REPRESENTATIVE• Self-directed, energetic, results-oriented self-starter• Motivated, positive team player and team builder• A commitment to excellence in all levels of development• A customer-service oriented mindset• Competitive leadership skills• Previous sales experience is preferred but not required• Bilingual is a plus• Life, Accident, and Health license is required to move forward, and is preferred but can be obtained during the licensing processAGENCY SALES MANAGER (in addition to the skills and experience above)• Assist district and unit managers in building teams • Support recruitment, training and development of sales representatives • Participate in and lead systematic coaching during call labs and joint field work• Conduct discovery appointments with new sales reps• Assist in helping sales reps achieve sales milestones and potentially earn bonuses on this production• Gain access to exclusive training and coaching to accelerate promotion into future leadership role and responsibilities • Previous sales experience is a plus• Strong desire to lead and motivate a team• Life, Accident, and Health license is required to move forward, and is preferred but can be obtained during the licensing processAdditional Desired Skills and Experience for Licensed Candidates:Proven track record in B2B sales (i.e., an existing book of business), preferably in a commission-based role.Proven leadership ability.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.Ability to build and maintain client relationships.Comfortable with fieldwork.Possess self-management skills and self-directed ability to achieve goals. Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.Passionate about exceeding sales targets and delivering outstanding results.Responsibilities:Learn, hone and deliver sales scripts and compelling sales presentations.Learn and hone negotiating and closing techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.Learn and hone all proprietary enrollment platforms and CRM system.Adhere to a system of daily prospecting through various channels, i.e., phone, networking, and/or in-person corporate drops.Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions.Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing B2B clients.Understand and effectively communicate the value of all products and services.Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.Hit or exceed quarterly sales targets to achieve all bonus compensation levels.Compensation:This is an independent contractor opportunity in which you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. Any income range associated with this posting represents the potential earnings available to you as a business owner in this role, not a guaranteed salary.
