Role and responsibilities
  • Coaches delivery teams on Agile practices to enhance product and service quality.
  • Elevates team performance through targeted coaching and development.
  • Promotes self-organization, cross-functional skills, and effective communication.
  • Determines the best delivery approach-Agile or Waterfall-based on project complexity.
  • Aligns teams and stakeholders to balance value delivery with deadlines.
  • Advances Agile practices and coordinates with IT PMO on methodologies.
  • Defines and documents requirements as features and stories with stakeholders.
  • Facilitates Scrum events tailored to project needs.
  • Manages cross-project dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
  • Resolves team impediments to optimize delivery.
  • Oversees project administration, ensuring best practices.
  • Controls scope and change management.
  • Collaborates with technical teams and business stakeholders for seamless execution.
  • Translates goals into actionable plans.
  • Handles project communication and performance reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
  • Exemplifies and promotes Project Management standards, Agile values and principles.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle models.
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all North American ISO (ERCOT, PJM, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISONE, CAISO) datasets and processes.
  • Functional knowledge of IT infrastructure including networking, databases, servers, security and cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
