While we welcome applicants new to the agricultural equipment service profession, preference will be given to individuals with significant technical experience in ag equipment. • Assist the service manager by advising customers on necessary service repairs and recommending preventative maintenance.
• Maintain service tools and vehicles in good condition.
• Keep the entire shop area clean.
• Take responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment and promptly report any accidents.
• Electronically document all work performed, parts used, and labor hours during repairs or machine preparations.
• Inspect completed work before delivery to customers.
• Recommend new shop equipment to increase efficiency and provide more comprehensive coverage to customers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements, Education/Experience, and Key Competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).
• 5 years of experience as an agricultural technician.
• Proficient in computer use, internet navigation, and typing work orders.
• Valid driver's license.
• Punctual, arriving on time and prepared for a full day of work.
• Experience with DC electrical systems and electronics.
• Ability to make temporary field repairs using a think on your feet mentality.
• Understanding of hydraulic flows and applications.
• Proficient in utilizing wiring and fluid power schematics.
• Knowledgeable in all facets of air conditioning systems.
• Systematic troubleshooting skills.
• Analytical thinking ability.
• Ability to assist in quoting jobs.
• Results-driven and enthusiastic.
• Collaborative team player, willing to assist others for top team performance.
• Well-organized and adaptable to working weekends and after hours during peak seasons.
