Agronomy Lead/Plant Ops - Hi-Line Cooperative : Job Details

Description:SUMMARY: The position of the Agronomy Lead will be responsible for the prioritization and execution of daily work in their assigned locations. Other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:1. In-season prioritization and planning of daily activities such as trailer deliveries, small chemical deliveries, and customer service activites. 2. In-season organization of daily work schedules and working with agronomy personnel to ensure that all needed inputs are on-site for work being completed the following day.3. Assisting agronomy personnel in organizing the movement and delivery of crop protection and fertilizer products to help keep inventory at acceptable levels throughout the company.4. Off-season responsibilities will be to assist managing location staff to accomplish an acceptable level of maintenance, training, and planning for the following year.5. Daily oversight of work orders to ensure we are following product labels and application requirements.6. Managing inventories, conducting monthly and annual inventory counts. 7. Ensure work orders are completed and finalized daily. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Oversight of work being conducted at the location and working with the Location Manager to provide coaching and direction to individuals throughout the year.2.
