Description SAIC is seeking an experienced Air Force Military Operations Liaison - Air Force located at Camp Smith in Oahu, Hawaii to provide program support of the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) program between the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J7 and the United States Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) to track and coordinate the Air Domain exercises and briefGovernment Customer on new capabilities, investments, and initiatives.NOTE: This position is located on Camp H.M. Smith, HI.JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist with planning and integration of Component level multi-domain capabilities, systems, equipment, and networks into Joint Exercises. Identify opportunities where USINDOPACOM J7 can advance Joint Training Readiness.
- Develop briefings and assessments up to senior level audiences and convey information in a clear and articulate manner to Government leadership.
- Monitor Strategic Operations, Activities, and Investments in support of the Geographic Combatant Command Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Campaign (PMTEC) Plan. Support the development of tactical and operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs that support PMTEC.
- Assist in the development and execution of an All-Domain warfare environment across the USINDOPACOM Area of Operations.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts and investments to further link ranges and training areas across the Indo-Pacific.
- Identify opportunities where PACAF investments can support the Joint Force, multi-domain operations, and integrate into USINDOPACOM Joint Exercises.
- Ability to work across other Services components. Coordinate with component level exercise planners and training coordinators.
Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Experience tracking, planning, and coordinating Joint Exercises; preferably within the INDOPACOM Area of Operations.
- Experience briefing personnel in new capabilities, investments, and initiatives.
- Knowledge of military tactics and associated training requirements.
DESIRED SKILLSET:
- Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, Mid-level Warrant Officer or Mid-level Commissioned Officer experience preferred
- Experience with US military operations at the tactical level; Experience with Multi-domain operations is preferred; Integrated Air and Missile Defense or Operational level experience is a bonus.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
- Must have a current Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
