Position Overview: In this position, you will have a significant role in business development with both current and potential clients. You will collaborate closely with our existing multi-disciplinary team to enhance our services and bring on board other skilled air professionals. We are seeking a candidate who has experience working with oil and gas, power plants and manufacturing clients, as well as expertise in preparing air permitting documentation, such as Title V, New Source Review, and Permits by Rule as well as air quality compliance reports such as annual emissions inventories, semi-annual and annual Title V, NSPS and NESHAP compliance reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee air quality permitting and regulatory compliance for various projects.
  • Develop emissions calculations and regulatory applicability reports.
  • Conduct air quality impact analyses and prepare technical reports.
  • Consult with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and other departments.
  • Lead the preparation and review of air quality permit applications.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Assist business development efforts to attract new clients and expand our market presence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for client acquisition and retention.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-20 years of experience in air quality consulting, environmental compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations and policies.
  • Experience with air emissions calculations and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional certifications (such as PE) preferred.
