Duties include thorough cleaning of both interior and exterior surfaces, from cabins to lavatories and windows, utilizing industry-approved cleaning products and tools. This role is essential in fostering a safe and pleasant travel atmosphere for both passengers and crew.WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT CLEANERClean, wash, and sanitize aircraft cabins including seats, seat pockets, tray tables, lavatories and overhead compartmentsEnsure galleys are stocked and organized in accordance with airline standardsVacuum floors and clean carpets using designated equipmentCoordinate with team members and other airport staff to meet aircraft cleaning schedulesMust be willing to work with tight deadlinesExceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documentsAbility to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operationPHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:Ability to lift up to 25 poundsProlonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicableMust be able to push, pullMust be able to reach with arms and grasp with handsExposure to Biohazards and/or ChemicalsMust be able to bend, stretch, squat, and kneelMust be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spacesExposure to moderate and at times high noise levelsBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarmsTasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingersSpecific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
