Duration: 6+ monthsLocation: 100% REMOTEJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled consultant to support an RFP process with Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for the replacement of their existing badging system. The consultant will play a key role in assessing solutions, contributing to vendor selection, and driving implementation planning.Responsibilities:

• Support the assessment phase, evaluating badging system solutions for LAX.
• Provide expertise in security badging systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to modernize an outdated, manual badging process with strict regulatory and security implications.
• Assist in vendor selection and contribute to the development of an implementation roadmap.
• Leverage experience from other major US airports (e.g., SFO, ATL, JFK, DFW, ORD) to inform best practices and drive operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with airport security badging systems, particularly Quantum Secure SAFE, HID SAFE, or Airbadge.
• Background in airport security, IT system modernization, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with major US airports preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
