POSITION: Behavioral Tech.

9:00 am - 3:30 pm - 5 days per week

START DATE: 9/1/2024

Responsibilities:

Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher

* Implement programs developed by teacher and consultant

* Reinforce daily living, social skills, receptive and expressive language skills

* Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs

* Plan and implement instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environments

* Meet regularly with consultant, special education teacher, support team

* Attend staff meetings

* Provide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or team

* Maintain student safety

* Implement behavior intervention plans designed to reinforce appropriate behaviors and eliminate inappropriate behaviors

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree and/or Associates Degree

* Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices

* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills

* Highly motivated and self directed

* Training in behavioral therapy preferred

* PMT Training
