JOB DESCRIPTION

Full-time Teacher Assistant/Driver position needed for students with a variety of special educational needs in West Haven, CT. This position is located within Seth Haley Elementary School.in West Haven. Prior successful work experience in a similar position desired.

ACES West Haven elementary program is a collaborative program between ACES and West Haven Public Schools serving early elementary school aged students with behavioral and/or other disabilities.

Individual must possess strong leadership qualities such as: creativity and initiative and have good written and oral communication skills. Experience with children and behavioral management system required.

This is a full-time 10 month position.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a high school diploma.

College experience or passing score on paraprofessional assessment test (Parapro) preferred.
