Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer in Richmond, IN and we are looking for candidates that have experience with aluminum welding, TIG welding, and quality checks.APLLY NOW!Responsibilities:Welding & FabricationSet up and operate MIG and TIG welding machines and equipment.Weld, cut, and grind aluminum of varying thicknesses.Perform tack welding and full welding of components and assemblies using electric, gas, or arc welding equipment.Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications.Follow weld and assembly requirements for assigned products using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).Ignite torches and adjust valves, amperage, and voltage to achieve the desired flame or arc.Conduct preventive maintenance on welding equipment, following manufacturer guidelines.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate necessary repairs.Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, fixtures, and gauges to check work.Conduct detailed inspections of welded parts to ensure they meet quality and production standards.Maintain production and quality logs, documenting welding activities and completed work.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding preferred.Proven experience as an aluminum welder, with knowledge of various welding techniques.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
