Events include but are not limited to Homecoming, Commencement, Parkside Day, and other Advancement hosted events.Partnering with university leadership, alumni foundation, and athletics this role guides alumni and donor interaction across campus. Engagement work includes managing 25-50 donor portfolios related to events, sponsorship, and Alumni.Job Description: Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree* At least 3 years of experience with fundraising, alumni relations, event planning or related role* Ability to work occasional evenings and weekendsThe ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and donor relations experiencePhysical Demands of the Job:* Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods during meetings, office work, and events.* Capability to lift and carry event materials, such as signage, decorations, and supplies, weighing up to 25 pounds.* Mobility to navigate event venues, both indoors and outdoors, and move between various campus locations.* Dexterity to set up and operate event equipment, such as projectors, microphones, and display boards.* Visual acuity to review event plans, donor records, and promotional materials.* Sufficient hearing to engage in conversations with donors, alumni, and colleagues in dynamic or crowded settings.* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events or donor-related activities.* Ability to travel locally or regionally to meet with donors, alumni, and community partners.* Adaptability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor events in differing weather.Salary and BenefitsSalary and BenefitsCommensurate with qualifications and experience.The University of Wisconsin System provides a liberal benefits package, including participation in a state pension plan.Benefit Details: & Retirement Contributions Estimator: ProcessApplication ProcessHOW TO APPLY:Applications must be submitted electronically through our employment portal.
