SUMMARY
Assist the Director of Alumni Relations with day-to-day operations of the Alumni Office. Part-time, 5 hour/week position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the front lines of communication with alumni and students; be available to answer questions and support alumni and students through phone, e-mail, written letters, etc. involving the Director as needed.
Assist in the planning and coordinating of alumni events.
Serve at the front office welcoming and assisting students, alumni, donors and friends of the university.
Provide administrative support to the Director and Advancement team as needed.
Additional tasks assigned by appropriate personnel as needed.
KEY PERFORMANCES INDICATORS
Maintaining a high level of customer service for our alumni.
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a member of the Alumni team, reporting directly to the Director of Alumni Relations showing care and respect for team members and the SAU Community by embracing the principles of the Spring Arbor University Community Covenant.
QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent work ability to organize, communicate and implement multiple tasks, with attention to detail, documentation and follow through. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from Spring Arbor University preferred. Excellent organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication and the ability to work with various age groups. Past affiliation with SAU and knowledge of the university is highly recommended.
