Job DescriptionThe Tap House at the Grand Summit Hotel is actively searching for an organized, professional, and friendly Host/Hostess to join our Food and Beverage team.This is a Part Time position. Expected regular shifts will include Mornings on weekends and special events.The Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash, managed by Hay Creek Hotels, offers scenic views of the Mt. Washington Valley in New Hampshire. As the only ski-in, ski-out access on Attitash Mountain, the hotel offers 143 guest rooms, suites, and fully equipped studios with resort-condo amenities including outdoor heated pool and fitness center, reading and game rooms, dining outlets, and meeting space.The Tap house is Grand Summit's signature gastropub featuring locally sourced oven roasted pizza, microbrews, and craft cocktails. The Black Diamond Grille also offers a convenient warm-up with fresh food to fuel guests throughout their stay. The Grand Summit Hotel at Attitash offers one of the largest meeting and event complexes in the Mt. Washington Valley with over 12,000 sq. ft. of space for large-scale business meetings, retreats, and live events to special occasions and fairs.Job Summary:

• Greet, direct, and seat, guests in accordance with company service standards.
• Manage all reservations, guest wait lists, and rotation of tables, as guided by the F&B Director.
• Assist Dining Room Attendants and Servers as needed, including busing and cleaning tables, setting tables, and running food.
• Be thoroughly familiar with menu items, promotions offered, hotel offerings, and related materials.
• Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly. Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.
• Assist in resolving any complaints, and communicate disgruntled customers to the appropriate supervisor.

Experience and SkillsRequired Experience:

• 16+ years old.
• Must feel comfortable with technology. Working knowledge of Open Table a plus.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to operate smoothly under pressure and stress.
• Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days.
