- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Ambulatory Quality Improvement Analyst works collaboratively with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, therapies and support staff to provide standard outpatient care practices across the health system. This position uses quality data and quality initiatives through effective execution of Clinic Operation plan activities. This position also guides the Outpatient Departments in areas of best practice high quality performance and process improvement.
- Efforts are in collaboration with the MIPS Coordinator, Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety and Clinic Operations.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience Requirements
- Previous experience, preferred two (2)-three (3) years in a quality improvement function
- Preferred knowledge of medical terminology
- Significant knowledge of tools used for report development and display
- The ability to design data projects, collect, manage and understand data is essential
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Knowledge of adult learning principles including principles of evaluation preferred
- High level of confidentiality required. Knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis and literature analysis/review ability recommended.
- Must have leadership/management skills.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking skills and adaptability to manage crisis required.
- Basis computer skills including data entry recommended
