Job Summary: The Regional Marketing Manager - SLED will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and programs designed to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation, and accelerate pipeline growth within the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) vertical. This role requires a dynamic and strategic thinker who can collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and partner teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals and SLED-specific needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the SLED market, coupled with experience in B2B marketing in the technology or cybersecurity sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy for the SLED vertical, aligning with corporate objectives and regional sales goals.
- Conduct market research to understand key challenges, trends, and opportunities within the SLED space.
- Work closely with regional sales teams to identify top accounts and growth opportunities, creating tailored marketing plans that address specific needs.
- Campaign Development & Execution:
- Plan, develop, and execute regional marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email campaigns, webinars, events, and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives focused on the SLED audience.
- Manage event strategy, including state-level trade shows, user groups, webinars, and other regional marketing events.
- Coordinate with content and product marketing teams to develop and localize messaging, case studies, and white papers relevant to the SLED market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with sales, product marketing, and partner marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and drive alignment on lead generation and pipeline acceleration.
- Collaborate with channel partners and resellers to co-market solutions to key SLED accounts.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns through KPIs and data-driven insights. Track ROI and optimize campaigns based on performance.
- Provide regular reporting on marketing activities, campaign results, and pipeline contribution to senior leadership.
- Budget Management:
- Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to maximize marketing impact and ROI. Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on regional or field marketing.
- Proven success in the SLED market, with a strong understanding of government procurement cycles, contract vehicles, and education sector nuances.
- Experience working within the technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tactics.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
