Our continued commitment to and alignment with the McWane Way will lead to positive results in our company and our communities.Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:Use a variety of hand & power tools and fixtures to correctly assemble various fire extinguisher parts on a fast pace manufacturing line, rotating to all stations, following blueprints, work instructions, JSA and procedures to assembly to specific specifications and then forward work to the next work station.Work 10 hour shift - Monday - Thursday2nd shift 5:00 PM -3:30 AM*Second shift receives a shift differential of $0.80/hr.•Must meet or exceed department/job production standards.•Must meet company attendance guidelines.•Understand and follow company work and safety rules, policies, procedures and work instructions.•Complete a 520 work hour probationary period.QualificationsWho You Are:•No phone inquiries accepted - you will be contacted if selected for an interview. Please bring a valid state issued ID with photo if interview is scheduled.•Must be eighteen (18) years of age and eligible to work in the United States.•Stand/walk and perform light physical labor uninterrupted for periods of up to three (3) hours at an interval.•Frequently lifting of material and product up to 50 lbs.(lift & carry)•Bend, stoop, push and reach regularly during the shift. Occassionally required to sit, climb and balance.•Frequently stand, walk, climb ladders, and reach with hands and arms.•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.•Manual dexterity - ability to precisely assembly part/assemblies on fast paced production line.•Comprehend and follow blueprints, work instructions, EHS and job procedures, JSA's and applicable paperwork.•Ability to be trained, work and rotated through all department work stations and work in other departments as needed.•Ability to work in seasonal high temperatures and humidity (conditioned air environment).•Pass a post offer drug test, background check and physical fitness review.McWane is a Federal VEVRAA contractor and an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing equal employment opportunity in all employment practices.
