DescriptionJob purpose Production Supervisor exists to coordinate production, maintenance, and warehouse personnel to achieve maximum production in a lean production environment.Duties and responsibilities

• Monitor set up and preparation of equipment prior to production.
• Provide trouble shooting assistance to machine operators and maintenance.
• Assign tasks to various personnel.
• Organize production areas.
• Handling of production paperwork including batch sheets, downtime, and process monitor.
• Understand and ensure personnel adhere to GMP's
• Ability to make quick judgment calls and be alert to any deviation on the lines.

RequirementsQualifications

• Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
• Qualifications include but are not limited to three years production experience.
• Basic PC skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of SPC and ISO9000 a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience is also preferred.
• Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Physical requirementsStanding and reaching for long periods of time. The ability to walk and watch more than one line of needed. Good manual dexterity is requires in explaining and demonstrating a job to new associates.
