ANALYST III -PROGRAMMER -McDonough Georgia - Georgia Crown Distributing : Job Details

• The Programmer/Analyst will work as part of the IT team to create new programs/systems based on direction from Senior Business Analyst using IBM System I (AS/400, iSeries) tools such as ILE RPG IV, CLP, SQL, etc.
• Will support/modify existing applications.
• Troubleshoot issues within applications
• Communicate with internal users as well as external support groups
• Test code and fixes to ensure quality
• Documents code changes
• All other duties as assigned
• • Intermediate skills programming in RPG IV, CLP and imbedded SQL on an iSeries.
  • Experience with Change Management applications a plus
  • EDI Experience a plus
  • Experience with transfer protocols preferred
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities without losing composure
  • Preference given to Infor System 21 experience
  • Must have good organizational skills to track multiple programming requests assigned at one time.
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks...).
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal, communication, mathematical, organizational and time management skills.
