About the job:
Vanbarton Group, a New York-based real estate investment firm, is seeking to hire an Analyst to support the firm's Investor Relations team. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to contribute. The Analyst will assist with investor engagement, data management, creation of investor materials, and support the team across multiple real estate strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Assist in identifying and researching potential investors for the Firm's various real estate strategies.
- Serve as an additional contact for institutional investors, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Support ongoing investor communications and maintain accurate records of investor interactions and commitments using the firm's CRM.
- Manage the prospective investor pipeline and support investor relations efforts.
Marketing & Presentation Development:
- Assist in drafting and updating pitchbooks, private placement memorandums, due diligence questionnaires, and other investor-facing documents. Help ensure accuracy and version control.
- Track fundraising progress and investor communication details through CRM and generate reports to be presented to senior management.
- Coordinate the collection and organization of due diligence materials, ensuring information is easily accessible for investors via platforms like Intralinks, Dropbox, or similar.
- Support the preparation and distribution of fundraising materials, collaborating with internal teams such as legal and accounting to track necessary approvals and compliance.
Information Analysis & Research:
- Conduct market research to track investor mandates, allocation preferences, and potential investment opportunities.
- Gather and analyze critical information to address investor inquiries and provide insightful responses.
- Provide ad hoc research and market color as needed for investor servicing and capital-raising efforts.
Collaboration & Project Management:
- Organize investor meetings, develop presentation materials, and capture key discussions and action items in meeting notes.
- Manage various projects related to thought leadership, events, and marketing campaigns to drive engagement and awareness.
- Collaborate across teams and gather feedback to identify opportunities that enhance the firm's strategic vision.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience in investment, wealth management, marketing, strategy, accounting, or financial services; financial services industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM databases, with Salesforce experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on creating presentations and reports.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and timelines efficiently.
- Creative and detail-oriented, with an interest in marketing and content creation.
- A proactive approach to learning and the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
