About the Role - The ideal candidate for the investment banking analyst position will have 1-2 years of related work experience and possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Being a self-starter with a strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously, attention to detail and strong communication skills are some of the qualities we look for. The analyst will work closely with our leadership team to execute M&A transactions, maintain deal databases and pipelines and conduct research and assist in marketing and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute M&A transactions: present and analyze historical and projected financial statements, perform valuations analyses (DCF, public comps, and transaction precedents), coordinate NDA process, create confidential information memoranda, create management meeting materials, analyze and compare LOIs, maintain buyer tracker, coordinate and perform due diligence, etc.
  • On-going projects: monitor market news and daily maintenance of internal transaction data base, maintain internal firm pipeline, coordinate calendars for meetings, update internal sponsors data base, etc.
  • Marketing: prepare pitch materials, identify potential target clients, maintain and update internal call lists, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics or related discipline
  • 1 - 2 years of experience working with data in a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
