Join our Operation Technology Execution team, where you will work on projects setting up the AES Network environment during construction. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth handoff between the Execution and Operation teams upon project COD. As part of this role, you will be involved in a diverse range of tasks, from configuring and installing to operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers, storage arrays, network devices, and software. Your contribution will be instrumental during the construction phase of a project. * Interacts with co-workers, vendors, and representatives of other organizations to acquire and disseminate information, advise on projects, resolve conflicts, set priorities, coordinate activities, complete projects within time and budget constraints, and provide assistance. * Create diagrams and documentation for as-is and to-be IT configurations. * Helps evaluate new products and services from vendors to resolve applicability to hardware, software, networks, and other systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our systems are aligned with all regulatory parameters. Your active enforcement of AES Cybersecurity requirements and maintenance of NERC CIP compliance will be crucial to our operations. Other duties as assigned. Qualification and reuiremetnts: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related subject * Experience with designing and implementing virtual environments and network fundamentals. * Good technical understanding of hardware, software, and overall technology. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Up to 60+% travel may be required, * This position should have 0 to 3 years of operational technology experience. * Ability to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) * Able to wear PPE, including steel-toe boots, hard hats, and other required safety gear. Desired Experience : * VMWare * Windows server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting * Networking design, including VLANs and subnetting * Ability to troubleshoot and logically work through issues based on prior experience.
