  • Performs routine analytical testing assignments using judgment and initiative, may determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • Performs standard laboratory operations such as carrying and dispensing of reagents.
  • Accurately reads measurement markings on laboratory glassware and written instructions of at least an eight-front size with corrective lenses as necessary. Performs standard analytical activities with direction from more senior laboratory chemist.
  • Is responsible for cleaning glassware, preparing solutions and assisting/preparing samples.
  • Is responsible for adhering to laboratory SOPS, GMP regulations, and laboratory safety rules in performing all laboratory functions.
  • Is able to use software associated with analytical instruments.
  • Maintains good housekeeping of all work and storage areas.
  • Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the positions.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: AA preferred or high school + equivalent experience
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years related industry experience
  • Knowledge/Skills: exposure to computer software associated with word processing and spreadsheets desirable
