About this role In this role you will contribute to a team of intermediate to experienced Analytics and Data professionals, setting objectives and providing guidance on various topics related to data stewardship, data cataloguing, analytics and reporting. You will have ownership of driving critical initiatives on analytics and reporting for an executive audience, while providing guidance to the internal teams on data strategy and availability.
Key responsibilities - Assessment and documentation of available data in the AWS Datalake and Snowflake data warehouse, highlighting gaps and potential data sources.
- Documentation of data quality standards and data governance practices to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards that provide an appealing visual representation like KPIs, facilitating data-driven decision-making and actionable insights
- Strong Python and SQL skills to conduct data extraction and transformation based on use case and needs
- Build data pipelines for data integration and availability
- Ensure data availability in AWS Datalake, Snowflake and/or SAP HANA, reporting on the completeness and accuracy of SIOP-related data for varying use cases.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and departments, ensuring that data analytics align with business goals.
- Regularly produce reports on data quality, addressing issues and monitoring improvements.
- Build executive level reports with high data fidelity for Monthly and Quarterly reviews
- Identification of areas for process improvement, process standardization and innovative solutions to enhance data analytics and data stewardship.
- Implementation of data security measures and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations to protect sensitive information.
- Liaison with Digital and other functions in the organization highlighting areas for attention and improvement in partnership
Basic Qualifications - Bachelors' Degree
- 6+ years of experience with SQL and/or Python
- 6+ years of experience with data visualization tools
- 5+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance or data management
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data modeling
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelors' degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with SIOP process and its data requirements, ex. Supply Chain, SIOP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Materials Management, Master Planning, or Scheduling
- Self-starter, Action oriented, results driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Functional experience collaborating with the business with a Consulting mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with AWS Datalake, Snowflake, or similar data warehousing platforms. Consulting Experience Preferred
- Experience with tools like Atlan or Nexla
- Certification in data management, data governance, or related fields.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Understanding of industry-specific data compliance and privacy regulations.
- Project management skills for leading data-related initiatives.
- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
