Animal Care Associate - INFOTREE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS : Job Details

We are seeking a Farm Hand/Animal Care Associate to join our exceptional team in Lenexa, KS. • Shift-4x10 Day Shift | Monday - Thursday; 6am-4:30pm | Overtime available

Responsibilities:

• Feed animals daily and provide care as needed
• Bleed sheep up to 8 hours/day at a minimum of 3 days/week for diagnostic purposes
• Administer routine immunizations and treatments as directed
• Provide basic feed and upkeep for animals on a rotational basis
• Perform routine maintenance on animal care facilities and equipment
• Assist with repairs of buildings, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Operate farm and construction equipment and machinery
• Report safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• Educational background: Equivalent experience to a High School Diploma or GED is acceptable.
• Related farm or mechanical experience preferred
• Certification/licensure in welding, plumbing, or related field is a plus
• Mechanical proficiency and ability to operate hand tools and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk approximately up to 2 hours a day
