Job Description
The Annual Giving Student Assistant will assist the Annual Giving Team in executing fundraising, communication, and stewardship projects and completing daily tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Associate Director of Annual Giving to engage members of the giving societies and steward donors with thank you correspondence, phone calls and personal videos
* Document interactions with donors in the alumni database, including thank you notes, phone calls and emails, while maintaining confidentiality (i.e., donor information, gift amounts, etc.)
* Assist with NKU Founders' Day tasks, including donor communication, social media, stewardship, ambassadorship and other duties as assigned
* Create and update documents and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
* Assist the Associate Director of Annual Giving with the Class Gift campaign, including writing fundraising emails and social media posts, coordinating fundraising strategies, stewarding donors, and other duties as assigned
* Communicate professionally and correspond between multiple NKU departments, external NKU organizations, and donors
Qualifications
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Willingness to take on new projects
* Ability to work 15-20 hours per week
* Detail-oriented
