Role Summary
Anthropologie is looking for a Brand Marketing Associate. The Brand Marketing Associate will assist the Marketing Team in delivering omnichannel 360 campaigns that provide an engaging customer experience and meet overall business objectives across the Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings & Anthropologie Home brands. They will be responsible for coordinating the workflow and communication between cross-functional partners in the planning, development, and execution stages of marketing campaigns by facilitating meetings, following up with partners, and providing creative solutions to potential roadblocks. This person will be a champion in bringing new ideas to the team as our expert in market trends, competitor initiatives, and emerging opportunities.
Role Responsibilities
Experiential Activations & External Partnerships
* Work in tandem with Brand Marketing Manager to execute compelling, 360 degree cross-promotional partnerships and experiential activations that support overarching goals and campaigns across Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings & Anthropologie Home brands
* Assist in the development and dissemination of activation and partnership briefs to channel teams. Closely track the creation of all pertinent marketing deliverables and share back with partners for approval when appropriate
* Act as a secondary liaison between external partners and facilitate the sharing of all brand guidelines, campaign assets and linking needed for cross-promotional marketing to garner additional reach
* Oversee all product-based elements of activations and external partnerships, including requests for Merchandising direction, sample gathering and shipment, DC orders etc.
* Support partnership-based experiential activations by overseeing load-in/setup/breakdown etc. as deemed appropriate by Brand Marketing Manager
* Own the development of partnership and experiential activation recaps, working with key channel owners and cross-functional partners to harness data, analyze results and provide insights to future strategy
Media Partnerships
* Support Brand Marketing Manager in maintaining relationships with key media partners to keep Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings & Anthropologie Home top of mind for potential paid placements (including OOH partners)
* Assist in the execution of all confirmed media plans by briefing in assets needed to internal teams, delivering assets back to partners and monitoring media once live to ensure KPIs are being met and anticipated ROI is driven
* Track current campaigns, capture and analyze all results upon completion and evaluate paid placement opportunities for future campaigns- offer insight/POV to Brand Marketing Manager for strategic planning
* Recap past media and work closely with cross functional partners to assess performance and overall brand lift for optimized performance
Localized Marketing
* Oversee briefing and cross-functional communication for new store openings, closures and relocations
* Coordinate sample procurement for seasonal photoshoots, advertisements, and promotional inclusions as needed
* Recap relevant openings as deemed appropriate based on business priority
Invoicing, Budgeting and Forecasting
* Manage the receipt, filing, submission and payment of all invoices across business areas listed above
* Partner with Brand Marketing Manager to ensure we are sticking to budget guidelines for each project, proactively calling out any unplanned shifts if/as they arise
* Responsible for reviewing, editing and speaking to monthly team trial balance, ensuring all invoices submitted for payment/Pcard charges have been executed and accruing for any that have not
* Work with Brand Marketing Manager to project spend for upcoming projects and speak to pertinent shifts/updates in Forecast meetings with larger team
Role Qualifications
* 3-4 years of experience in a marketing role; partnership and fashion/retail experience a plus
* A charismatic and proactive style of communication desired for external communication
* Strong organization skills inclusive of building timelines and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of cross-functional partners across multiple teams
* Hunger for brainstorming/ideating new and exciting external partners in complementary industries
* General awareness of/experience working with media companies and partners a plus
* Motivated by curiosity, whether solving a problem, pursuing a new experience, or seeking creative inspiration
* A proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
* Results-driven, solution-oriented, flexible, self-driving, and must have the ability to change course quickly, think big and start small, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
