• Provide instruction and coaching with athletes to prepare them for competition. Coaches help our athletes to play their best individually and as a team in sports such as football, baseball, basketball, softball, track and field, tennis, golf, and cross country.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Preferred prior experience in the athletic activity of choosing
• Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate skills in sports
• Knowledge of sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety
• Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm

Responsibilities:

• Represent WL Jr./Sr. High School by maintaining a professional attitude
• Train students throughout the season
• Maintain the safety of all participants
• Work with other coaches throughout the season
• Attends mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled
• Communicate effectively with participants and other coaches
• Deliver excellent customer service to all that utilize the athletic facilities and serve our diverse population
• Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training.

Application Requirements:

• Acceptable results of an expanded criminal history background check done at the cost of the applicant
• Three professional references

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary follows the WLCSC Compensation Model
• Not eligible for benefits

Schedule:

• Seasonally dependent upon activity
