Summary: Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Child AOP Day Treatment Assistant for Hancock and Pearl River Counties in MS. The purpose of the AOP Day Treatment Assistant is to assist AOP Staff with daily functions of the day treatment group and transporting individuals receiving services. The AOP Day Treatment Assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care needed as require by PBMHR standard.

Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements: High School Dipolma or Equivalent Required

Bachelor's Degree in behavioral Healthcare Preferred

Must possess valid Class D MS Commercial driver's license with satisfactory driving record

Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening

Responsibilities: Ability to provide courtesy and customer service to staff and individuals.

Ability to work efficiently and as a team member

Ability to provide individual transportation

Ability to supervise and monitor individuals

Ability to follow company guidelines related to personnel policies and procedures
