Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the upkeep of our 50-unit property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in apartment maintenance and repairs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring our residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct inspections of units to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner and document all maintenance activities accurately.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Keep common areas and grounds clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and other necessary repairs.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and fair housing regulations.
  • Qualifications:
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or certification in maintenance or related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in a residential or multifamily housing setting.
    • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
