Our technicians are the face of the company and the primary source of our success. Technicians perform in-home field service for a range of customers and home appliances. Responsibilities include:Driving to multiple customer homes daily to conduct repairs on refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, washers and dryers.Diagnosis of symptoms by evaluating function, tracing electrical circuits, using diagnostic tools, using multi-meters, performing mechanical evaluations, researching common failures and technical documents.Respecting customers home environment.Communicating with customers professionally to understand their appliance issues, present findings, present quotes, schedule follow up visits and close sales.Performing research using a variety of technical resources to identify parts or repair processes.Contacting and communicating with in-house and external technical support resources where needed.Ordering, tracking and receiving parts to conduct repairs and replenish van stock.Using job tracking software to research and record all aspects of service visits and repair status.Informing customers of available added services such as dryer vent cleaning, preventive maintenance and appliance protection plans.An ideal candidate will:Act in accordance with the company's core values and:Do what it takes to get the job done rightAct with integrityExhibit a positive demeanorCommunicate confidentlyUse emotional intelligencePossess gritLeave a positive impression with customers, regardless of the outcome of their appliance repairBe highly disciplined and capable of working fully independentlyPossess strong technical problem-solving skillsBe comfortable and proficient with iphone applications, navigating web resources and PC software applicationsThis is a remote position. Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers.
