Appliance Repair Technician - Stewart's Shops : Job Details

Description:We have an immediate opening available in our Appliance Repair department located at our Distribution Center & Manufacturing Plant. This department supports our shops by proactively repairing and rotating appliances used in the shops.Duties:•Preventative maintenance and repair of shop appliances (coffee brewers, food warmers, milkshake machines etc.).•Assist shops and maintenance with onsite issues or with shipping replacement units.•Help maintain proper inventory levels on parts through cycle count process.•Clean and disassemble appliances returned from shops to prepare them for repairs/maintenance.Requirements:•Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.•Background with basic electrical wiring is helpful.•Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet team productivity goals.•Ability to problem solve and follow SOPs.•Strong communication skills to interact with shops/district personnel.Schedule:•Full time positions available.•Schedule is 8am-430pm, including some holidays.•Starting pay is $19/hour.•Performance based bonus incentive program.We Offer:•Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), an employer paid retirement fund.•Health, Vision, and Dental benefits package.•Accrued paid time off and 6 paid holidays.•YMCA discount program.•Uniforms provided.•OT as available.•Positive work environment with growth opportunities and career establishment.
