Job Description :
Provide analysis, design, and integration support for Institutional Advancement applications including but not limited to Raiser's Edge, Fundraising Performance Management, and Aqueduct data warehouse. Provide analysis for proposed new technology. Design integrations using Denison's iPaas solution and support existing integrations.Essential Job FunctionsLearn new technologies and evaluate them in conjunction with existing Advancement business processes at Denison.Identify, develop, and maintain any integrations for Advanced Systems e.g. Raiser's Edge, Workday, Banner, etc. that will link with cloud services or on-premise applications.Maintain Banner jobs written in Oracle SQL and scripted with Bash.Stay current with existing software and technologies in use at Denison including IT security and integrate best practices.Create new imports into Raiser's Edge CRM using Omatic's Importomatic tool. Stay current on Raiser Edge changes and assess how they might affect our imports and recommend moving to cloud when appropriate.Investigate automating Raiser's Edge with tools such as Power Automate. Collaborate with ITS on issues related to hosting.Learn how to use the Raiser's Edge SKY API and collaborate with other RE clients who have used the API to automate RE processes.Recommend tools and timing for moving forward with SKY API.Minimum Qualifications8 years of work-related experience.Must be familiar with advanced database and SQL concepts, advanced SQL programming beyond queries, and integrating 3rd party software solutions with systems of record (both on-premise and cloud hosted).Preferred QualificationsPrior experience on a higher education Institutional Advancement programming team, or commensurate experience with other mid-sized non-profit fundraising organizations.Experience working in a decentralized IT infrastructure where change management documentation, interdepartmental communication, and cooperation are heavily exercised.Experience with modern fundraising CRM products and business processes is highly desired.Physical DemandsLess than 10 pounds.Contact(s)Contact Phone/ExtensionContact EmailOpen Date10/01/2024Close DateOpen Until Filled: YesSpecial Instructions to ApplicantsAdditional InformationDenison University Background Check Statement: The final candidate will undergo a background check as a conditional offer of employment.Denison University EEO Statement: Denison University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
