We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer – Power Systems to provide technical support and guidance to both potential and existing customers. This role involves applying technical expertise to assist with product implementation, answering application-related questions, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about various power system applications and capable of working independently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for internal Technical Sales Support.
- Test and evaluate products within customer applications.
- Engage directly with customers remotely and in person to address detailed technical inquiries.
- Develop and write application notes and training materials for internal and external use.
- Provide marketing insights to the Product Line Manager based on customer and sales interactions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to create technical marketing materials.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and participate in professional societies.
- Conduct webinars and customer training seminars.
- Attend internal training and coordination events to stay updated on product advancements.
- Support sales teams by ensuring customers successfully integrate and accept product solutions.
- Assist with technical aspects of sales proposals, including site visits for large or complex opportunities.
- Respond to application-related questions throughout the sales and implementation process.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience in power systems applications.
- Familiarity with power system simulation and coordination software.
- Strong interest in emerging power technologies, including DC power, DERs, IBRs, BESS, and microgrids.
- Ability to travel up to 40% as required.
